Modernizing Medicine’s modmed® Kiosk Receives the People’s Choice Award at the 2017 UX Awards
Physician efficiency and patient empowerment focus of easy-to-use, interactive application
Palm Beach Tech Association Member, Modernizing Medicine, Inc., receives the People’s Choice Award at the 2017 UX Awards Summit in Palo Alto, California. Modernizing Medicine won the award for their modmed® Kiosk by highest average popular vote.
The modmed® Kiosk is a native iPad application designed for patients to perform self-service tasks at the doctor’s office, such as completing patient intake forms. Kiosk provides a valuable opportunity to engage patients early on, directly involve them in their own care, reduce potential errors from illegible documentation, decrease waiting time, reduce costs, and eliminate outdated information.
The UX Awards Summit Conference aims to inspire technologists to create human-centered products that solve real problems by showcasing the most innovative people, products, and processes of next-generation digital product, customer experience, interaction, service, integrated industrial-digital, and experience design.
