Reports and Notes That Fit Your Specialty
During the implementation process, our team will build some initial documents and templates for procedures, to help you meet the ASC documentation requirements for your specialty. Input sections, questions and lists can be customized to your ACS’s workflow. The system also makes it easy to go back in and alter these templates as needed or to add your own.
Say Goodbye to Double Charting
Pre-op note. Post-op note. Procedure note. Anesthesia note. These service documents can be built with common fields to help reduce data entry. For example, if you enter medication on the pre-op note, the information also populates in the medication field on the anesthesia note in real time.
Our system also integrates with our all-in-one, specialty-specific software suites, which allows for a seamless transfer of pertinent patient information from clinic to ASC. We are also able to interface with other EHR or practice management solutions.
Simultaneous Input
When nurses or anesthesia personnel enter medications and document in the same system as the physician, the physician does not have to enter this data again later in the process.
Monitor Interfaces
Our ASC software can be interfaced to pull data from compatible vital signs monitors or medical imaging equipment into the procedure note, so you’re free to focus on other tasks.
Integrated Anesthesia Notes
The patient’s medical history carries over from pre-op note to the anesthesia note, reducing data entry. Time markers can track anesthesia start and end times.
Integrated Nurses’ Notes
Most of the fields from the operative report are documented from the nurses’ notes in real time. The surgeon verifies the notes and can add their own procedure notes, using the narrative or by typing or dictating (with Dragon, for example) directly into the field.
ASC Quality Reporting Tools
Our report writer captures detailed data to support certain ASC Quality Reporting (ASCQR), Outpatient and Ambulatory Surgery CAHPS (OAS CAHPS) Survey and other types of specialty-specific reporting such as ASC-14 Unplanned Vitrectomy and Implantable Device log for ophthalmology by collecting and electronically gathering data for quality indicators for surgical procedures.
