Tips for MIPS: Learn More at ADAM

dermatologist Dr. Michael Sherling speaking with patients and medical assistant

Are you heading to the Association of Dermatology Administrators & Managers (ADAM) conference this year? If so we hope we have the chance to connect. This year our CMO and co-founder Michael Sherling, MD, MBA will be presenting on the topic of “Maximizing Your Revenue Under the Medicare Merit Based Incentive Payment System—Advancing Care Vertical” on Tuesday, February 28 at 4:10pm.

In his presentation Dr. Sherling will provide a survival guide, if you will, for excelling under MIPS. From understanding how MIPS came to be to, to deconstructing the score and taking a in depth look at two of the categories including Advancing Care and Clinical Improvement Activities, you’ll definitely leave the presentation with some new nuggets of knowledge on the hot topic of MIPS and value-based care. You’ll also learn about the value and importance of being able to keep an eye on your score with dashboards that are built in the electronic health record (EHR) systems being used. Your MIPS intelligence will skyrocket after learning from Dr. Sherling.

If you can’t make it to his presentation, Modernizing Medicine will be at ADAM at booth 19 and will be on the floor during AAD at booth 2665.
