4 Reasons We’re Looking Forward to ASRS

We’re ready for all things retina-related as our team is looking forward to heading west to San Francisco for the American Society of Refractive Surgery (ASRS) from August 9-14. Will we see you there? Here are four things we’re looking forward to as we travel to Cali.

  1. San Fran. The Golden Gate Bridge. Trolley cars. And Fisherman’s Wharf. These are just a few iconic elements found in “The City by the Bay.” We love traveling and showcasing modmed Ophthalmology™ around the country, and we really enjoy experiencing the unique aspects of the city we are in. As you plan your trip to ASRS, here are the top 20 attractions according to San Francisco Travel. Looking for a great spot for a good meal? Thrillist has you covered with their top spots to dine.
  1. The People. We love seeing our current clients at conferences, plus introducing other ophthalmologists to our suite of products in modmed Ophthalmology. There is so much knowledge and excitement in one place we look forward to shows like ASRS all year.
  1. modmed 5.0. We recently launched our updated cloud-based, specialty-specific software, modmed 5.0. ASRS is one of first ophthalmology shows since the exciting release. We can’t wait to show off ophthalmology-specific enhancements to EMA and our robust offerings, including Practice Management. Practice Management offers a modern all-in-one system for scheduling, document management, billing and reporting designed to help improve practice workflows and boost patient payments. With 5.0 comes specialized registries. Any eligible professional will now be able to opt in to one or more of Modernizing Medicine’s Specialized Registries including Dry Eye Syndrome and Primary Open Angle Glaucoma to meet one or more of the Public Health measures. Another notable new enhancement is Clinical Lab Integrations with Quest and LabCorp. You’ll have the opportunity to see all the features and more during a demo when you stop by Booth 215.
  1. The Private Event. After a long-day at the conference, what’s better than kicking back and relaxing with friends new and old with yummy bites and cocktails too! On August 10 from 6:30-8:30 pm , you’re personally invited to join us at the View Lounge City Cove. Hosted right in the San Francisco Marriott Marquis where the ASRS conference will be held, you’ll be able to stop by and unwind after an eventful day at the conference. There will even be a chance to win an Apple Watch while enjoying some relaxing moments with your colleagues, but you must be present to win. Share with colleagues and register here.
