It’s National Yoga Awareness Month

According to the Yoga Health Foundation, September is the official National Yoga Month (a national observance designated by the Department of Health & Human Services) designed to educate about the health benefits of yoga and to inspire a healthy lifestyle.

MMFIT, which stands for Modernizing Medicine Fitness in Technology, is a spinoff from our MMwit group and is a company-wide initiative to provide Modernizing Medicine employees with health and wellness opportunities to promote employee health and work-life balance. MMFIT is proud to host on-site yoga classes for all Modernizing Medicine employees.

Here’s what some of our yogis say about the benefits of practicing yoga during the work day at Modernizing Medicine:
