Modernizing Medicine Inc., creator of the Electronic Medical Assistant, announced it has received a spot on the Inc. 500 list, which has previously included companies like Intuit, Zappos, Microsoft and Oracle.

This 34th annual list ranks the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. To qualify, honorees have to grow at least 10-fold over the past 3 years.

Electronic Medical Assistant is a cloud-based, iPad native, specialty-specific electronic medical record system that is the flagship product of the company, according to the press release.

“We are committed to providing cloud, mobile and structured-data systems that benefit both physicians and their patients with better technology, increased patient engagement and improved health care outcomes. Inclusion on the Inc. 500 list demonstrates that we are filling a technological gap and achieving our mission,” Daniel Cane, CEO and cofounder of Modernizing Medicine, said in the press release.
