The FPMA Summer Conference is a perennial favorite, and we have brought it back (after a one-year absence) better than ever! This year's conference will be presented as a 100% in-person event; no virtual offerings will be provided. A maximum of 230 Podiatric Physician attendees and 90 X-Ray Assistant attendees will be eligible to attend.
The FPMA Summer Conference traditionally takes a different tack than the annual FPMA Science and Management Symposium (SAM), offering equal parts lecture and leisure. This conference plan offers attendees the opportunity to attend CECH lectures each morning and then take advantage of a multitude of leisure and self-enrichment activities available on-site and in the local community each afternoon. This way, attendees can reconnect with family, network with colleagues, and enjoy downtime with family-friendly activities planned each day.
Intended Audience: The Florida Podiatric Medical Association (FPMA) annually convenes the Summer Conference, a podiatric medical and surgical conference. The intended audience of the Florida Podiatric Medical Association (FPMA) 2023 Summer Conference is Doctors of Podiatric Medicine and Podiatric Residents.
Mission Statement: The Florida Podiatric Medical Association’s educational mission is to promote continuing education in podiatric medicine, podiatric surgery and practice management through workshops and seminars. Our commitment is to increase knowledge by offering every registrant the educational assistance needed to improve care for their patients and be successful in practice by promoting the benefits of scientific advancement in the treatment, prevention, and alleviation of podiatric ailments.
Podiatric Physician Accreditation Statement: FPMA is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. FPMA has approved this activity for a maximum of 14.0 Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECH) during this four-day conference, depending on lectures attended. This conference will take place June 8 -11, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida.
