Boca Raton, FL – March 7, 2014 – Modernizing Medicine announced today that the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce named the company its 2014 Business of the Year. The annual awards program has been in place for almost three decades and recognizes local companies and leaders that benefit the community both through economic success as well as philanthropic efforts.
The announcement comes shortly after Modernizing Medicine celebrated its fourth anniversary and shared a number of performance highlights achieved throughout 2013, including increasing its share in the dermatology market to approximately 20 percent, securing additional funding, increasing its staff by more than 30 percent and announcing partnerships with Eyemaginations, Inc., PatientNOW, Nuance, 3Gen, Inc. and Miraca Life Sciences. Modernizing Medicine’s team also prioritizes work that supports the science and technology community, both locally and nationally, through various volunteer initiatives.
