Modernizing Medicine Named One of The 2012 Florida Companies To Watch By The Florida Economic Gardening Institute

Florida Companies to Watch is an awards program that celebrates privately held second-stage companies headquartered in the state. This year, fifty Florida companies, including Modernizing Medicine, were selected for demonstrating the intent and capacity to grow based on employee or sales growth, exceptional entrepreneurial leadership, sustainable competitive advantage, outstanding corporate culture, inspired community giving and other notable strengths.

As a second-stage company, Modernizing Medicine has demonstrated substantial growth in both company size and sales. This year, Modernizing Medicine hired 50 new employees and gained significant sales traction within the dermatology, ophthalmology and optometry markets in the United States. Since its launch two years ago, the company has captured more than 10% of the dermatology market, and its EMA applications are currently used by over 550 specialty-specific healthcare practices across the country.
