Modernizing Medicine names Rick Von Pusch as Chief Revenue Officer

Seasoned executive will help set strategic direction and create the infrastructure for accelerated value creation and growth

Boca Raton, Fla. – May 2, 2016 – Modernizing Medicine, Inc., the creator of the Electronic Medical Assistant® (EMA™), a cloud-based, specialty-specific electronic health record (EHR) system, has named Rick Von Pusch as the company’s first Chief Revenue Officer. He will head all revenue-related activities overseeing the sales, marketing and business development teams.

In his role, Rick will work as part of the executive team with Daniel Cane, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Michael Sherling, Chief Financial and Operating Officer Karen O’Byrne and General Counsel Mark Fleisher. He will oversee the sales, marketing and business development functions across the existing portfolio of product and service offerings, market segments and channels and those that are acquired or developed in the future. Rick will continue to build the bridge from long term corporate strategy to execution, ensuring that the entire organization understands the direction, resources and priorities required to be successful.

Rick brings extensive business-to-business sales and marketing experience from his over 20-year career with various technology companies. Prior to joining Modernizing Medicine, he was Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Operations for Dealertrack, a leading software as a service (SaaS) provider for the automotive and lending industries. Prior to Dealertrack, Rick was Vice President of US retail sales for Reynolds and Reynolds, a software solution provider in the automotive industry where he held various positions over his 17-year career. Rick holds a BA in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida.
