Modernizing Medicine’s Daniel Cane Named a Top Power Leader in Healthcare by South Florida Business Journal

Boca Raton, FL – August 2, 2013 – Modernizing Medicine announced today that President and CEO Daniel Cane has been recognized as one of the South Florida Business Journal’s “Top Power Leaders in Healthcare” for 2013. The award recognizes key decision makers in some of the most crucial healthcare institutions in South Florida.

“I am extremely humbled to be honored for this award alongside such an elite group of South Florida leaders,” said Cane. “I could not have won without the support of co-founder Dr. Michael Sherling and the help of my exceptional staff, who inspire me to make Modernizing Medicine the best it can be.”

This is the latest recognition Modernizing Medicine has received from South Florida Business Journal.
Both Cane and the company’s Chief Medical Officer, Michael Sherling, have been named to the publication’s “40 Under 40” list, while Chief Financial Officer Karen O’Byrne was honored as one of the “Most Influential Businesswomen” of 2013. For the past two years, the publication has also named Modernizing Medicine as one of the “Fastest Growing Companies” in South Florida.

Earlier this week, Modernizing Medicine was recognized by the Sun-Sentinel as one of  “Top Workplaces for People on the Move.” The company’s success has also been recognized on a national level. This year, Modernizing Medicine was listed at No. 47 on Forbes’ annual ranking of America’s Most Promising Companies.
