    • Why has Modernizing Medicine chosen to acquire Aesyntix?

      Modernizing Medicine is always seeking ways to add more value for customers. Our providers frequently request additional services with our EMR system, the Electronic Medical Assistant® (EMA™), so that they have a one-stop shop for the products and services that help them in their practice and help run their office better. Aesyntix’s specialty-specific focus makes it a perfect fit for Modernizing Medicine. We believe that the specialty-specific advanced technology of EMA Dermatology™ aligns with the quality Aesyntix services you use today.
    • I just purchased an Aesyntix service. What now?

      Continue to get excited about using your new streamlined service and continue with your implementation. You will still receive the same training and level of continued support.
    • Will there be change in Aesyntix leadership?

      Clark Avery and Thom Schildmeyer, who have held leadership positions at Aesyntix, will be taking leadership roles at Modernizing Medicine and will continue to be actively involved in revenue cycle management and the other Aesyntix services and operations.     • Will the name of the company change?

      Yes, certain Aesyntix subsidiaries, products and services names will change to reflect the Modernizing Medicine brand.
    • Will I log in to the same system for revenue cycle management and AIM?

      You will login for now as you always have to the same application. We anticipate a rebranding of the name, colors and logo to the Modernizing Medicine brand in early January. There should be no disruption of service as a result of this change.
    • Will I still go to the Aesyntix Website?

      No. In early January, you will be redirected to the Modernizing Medicine website at
    • Who do I contact for Support now?

    • How do I pay my bill?

      You will continue to pay you bill as you do now until further notice. We will keep you apprised of any changes.
    • Will there be a price change?

      You continue to pay your existing price based on the terms and date of your contract.
    • What if I am already an EMA Dermatology customer?

      If you are among the over 30 percent of Aesyntix customers who are already using EMA Dermatology, management of your services/solutions just got a lot easier.
    • Does this mean I have to use EMA Dermatology now if I am not already using it?

      No, not at all. You don’t have to make any changes or additions to the services you use today, unless you are not yet an EMA Dermatology customer and want to benefit from the dermatology-specific EMR system used by more than 28 percent of US dermatologists. More than 30 percent of Aesyntix customers already use EMA Dermatology, proving the compatibility of the combined products/services. If you choose to switch to EMA Dermatology, you will not only have the added convenience and savings of having a one-stop shop for your solutions and service, but also broader specialty-specific development focused on making all of our dermatology offerings work better together.
