TEDxDelrayBeach: Where unstoppable forces ignite immovable industries

The first TEDxDelrayBeach held on May 3, 2013, in Delray Beach’s Crest Theater featured over two dozen local thought leaders, talents and simply inspirational individuals that we’re fortunate to call neighbors. Modernizing Medicine CEO Dan Cane was among the innovators who took the stage. If you weren’t one of the lucky 400 in attendance, here’s your chance to see and hear his riveting talk.

At the intersection of technology and fundamental human interests is where you’ll find serial entrepreneur Daniel Cane. As a Cornell undergraduate he co-founded education giant Blackboard Inc., took the company public — and eventually sold it for over $1B. Having “checked the box” on revolutionizing the .edu market, Daniel shifted his focus to healthcare and founded Modernizing Medicine, which is completely transforming how medical information is created, consumed and utilized with its first product EMA Dermatology EHR and EMRs in subsequent specialties. In 2013 Forbes named Modernizing Medicine one of the Top 50 “America’s Most Promising Companies.”
