Modernizing Medicine Announces Grand Opening of New Space in Weston, Fla.

We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new office in Weston, Fla. The new space serves as an exciting milestone for the Weston-based team as it marks a crucial next step for gMed, Inc., developer of the Top Ambulatory Electronic Health Record for gastroenterology. With the September 2015 acquisition, Modernizing Medicine and gMed not only combined the best of specialty-specific products and services, but also the two talented teams from both organizations. The merging of our two groups started at the fun-filled intro kick-off at Dave and Buster’s (also the day the minions joined our crew), and continues with sharing and extending Modernizing Medicine’s dynamic culture and workspace with our team across the county line. Plus, our office space needs to be able to keep up and scale with our ever-expanding team.

Our new 20,000+ square foot facility is large enough to support the needs of our current staff, while also allowing space for additional employees as we continue to grow. We take pride in the perks we offer our employees, which is why our new location has all of the same amenities as our Boca Raton office, including a treadmill room and a “Zen room” enabling us to take a break when needed.

The perimeter is mostly windows, and the open concept includes with lots of glass walls to let all of natural light easily permeate the space. The office also gives our team the ability to work in both Boca Raton and Weston. Not only do the Boca and gMed teams get to more closely collaborate, but also our employees who live closer to one office or the other enjoy the shorter commute.
