Hi! I’m Doctor David Lehman, senior medical director of otolaryngology at Modernizing Medicine. Today, I’m going to demonstrate how you can use “master visits” known as Protocols in our EHR system, EMA. So in this case I want to choose a protocol and this is something I have predefined or something that I commonly do. And I’m going to look for my protocol with reflux hoarseness and dysphagia which is done. I’m going to save that and let’s see the output of my note. So with a few short clicks, my entire note is complete. You’ll see my historical summary at the top along with my HPI that’s been written in a grammatically correct format.
