Image Management Device Requirements
Image Management devices use our Imaging Service installed on a Windows workstation/server to export images and reports to ModMedⓇ’s EHR software, EMAⓇ. The images and reports can be exported from the device in one of two ways:
- Export to a shared folder
- DICOM networking
Primary technical requirements needed to integrate the devices:
- Each Windows workstation/server must be running either Windows 10 (recommended), Server 2016, or Server 2019 (recommended).
- Each device/workstation must have network connectivity, either wired (preferred) or wireless.
- Each Windows workstation/server must have at least 8GB of RAM.
- Minimum network bandwidth must be 50 Mbps symmetrical.
- Static IP addresses are required for all workstations/servers hosting the Image Management Service.
Compatible Devices
Below is a list of the devices that are compatible with our Image Management solution. Devices marked with an asterisk (*) have been tested successfully with sample files.
If you don’t see your device listed below, email us at [email protected] with the following information from the medical device vendor:
- A sample device output (i.e. pdf, jpg+xml, dcm, etc) of a test patient (minus PHI)
- Documentation regarding how the device typically exports or connects to EHRs
- DICOM conformance (if applicable)
Once we have this information, we will review and determine if the device is compatible.
