GI Partners of Illinois and GI North Switch to gGastro to Ease MIPS and Improve Practice Efficiency
Gastroenterology EMR, PM, Endoscopy Reporter and MIPS application enable GI practices to improve practice performance and patient outcomes
GI Partners of Illinois, in Libertyville, Ill., is a growing gastroenterology specialty group comprised of nearly 50 staff members including gastroenterologists, administrators, nurse administrators and nurse practitioners. Several gastroenterology practices were uniting under the GI Partners umbrella, so although the leadership team evaluated the multiple EHRs that the company’s practices utilized, few systems were built with the gastroenterologist’s workflow in mind and met their interoperability needs. In anticipation of opening an endoscopy center later this year, Dr. Cofrancesco and his colleagues were researching a combined EHR, practice management and endoscopy system; they didn’t feel their previous vendor met that need.
