Winners were selected based on a number of criteria, including market size, number of customers and users, venture investment and social contribution. The companies were recognized at an event on May 16, where entrepreneurs, corporate strategists and venture financiers also gathered to discuss topics of importance to their companies, including what it takes to be an entrepreneur and the qualities of leading technology companies.
“We are honored to be named to the Top 100 North America list,” said Daniel Cane, President and CEO of Modernizing Medicine. “As we continue to grow and expand upon EMA’s capabilities, it is incredibly encouraging to receive international recognition, and we thank Red Herring for its support.”
The win comes shortly after IBM announced that it selected Modernizing Medicine to join the IBM Watson Ecosystem.
