Modernizing Medicine Co-Founders Daniel Cane and Dr. Michael Sherling Honored with Leadership in Health Care Award by U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Boca Raton, Florida – October 22, 2014 – Modernizing Medicine, Inc., creator of the Electronic Medical Assistant® (EMA™), a cloud-based, specialty-specific electronic medical record (EMR) system, announced today its co-founders Daniel Cane and Dr. Michael Sherling were recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for the Leadership in Health Care Award. The award was presented to Cane and Sherling at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s 3rd Annual Summit on October 22, 2014, in Washington, D.C.

Each year, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce selects a representative from a company that has made significant contributions and shown tremendous leadership in the health care sector. This year’s focus is on “Advancing Delivery System Reform,” where leaders are specifically creating innovations in how health care services are delivered.
