Additionally, all participants will get to hear from Ronda Tews, director of billing and coding compliance at Modernizing Medicine, about the upcoming Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding changes taking effect January 1, 2021 and will learn how the company’s electronic health records (EHR) systems, EMA® and gGastro® EHR, have been updated to help users as they prepare to undergo this change, the first major revisions to the E/M code structure in more than 20 years.

“With the challenges the pandemic has brought to the healthcare industry, we couldn’t be more thrilled to attend MOMENTUM 2020 virtually and be able to collaborate and learn from practices and medical professionals alike,” said AnnMarie Carruthers, Director of Operations at Sforzo Dillingham Stewart Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. “While this year’s event will look different than previous ones, we’re looking forward to meaningful and insightful discussions with peers to further build upon this dynamic community.”
